Lauren and I have had our session proposal accepted for this year’s ContentEd conference in November. We’re really looking forward to sharing our experiences at the international higher education conference for content professionals, and we’ve got a discount code to share with Edinburgh colleagues.

We recently embarked on a series of collaborative design sprints. We host open research playbacks so colleagues can watch videos of students interacting with our work-in-progress. This is a load of extra work, a nice-to-have luxury, right? Actually I think it’s essential, and here’s why.

I’m looking ahead to the replacement of our current undergraduate and postgraduate degree finders. Defining what we need to support student recruitment in 2022 and beyond is tricky. In this post I explain how I believe design sprints will deliver this.

Our research found clear entry requirements information is crucial to prospective students. But the way the University currently presents this information can be confusing and increases enquiries.

Join us on Wednesday 10 March to hear what we have learnt so far on entry requirements for undergraduate prospective students, and then help prioritise the areas we should improve.

On 29th September 2020 Aaron and I presented at the Web Publishers Community session to present the case study of our work in supporting this year’s undergraduate Clearing process.

At this month’s meet up of web publishing professionals from across the University, Gayle and Aaron will present a case study of our work to support this year’s undergraduate admissions clearing process.
