As we have reached a break in the development of EdWeb, now is the time to look at our old and new Content Management Systems objectively. I’m looking for colleagues to help me do this. If you have experience of both Polopoly and EdWeb, and can spare an hour or so, you can get involved.

As the migration to EdWeb passed the halfway mark in September the WPC gathered to hear about the plans for the future of EdWeb. The flexibility of homepages in EdWeb was also highlighted along with an update of the work currently being carried out on cookie management.

We have just created some Balsamiq templates for EdWeb users, which you can use to make mockup pages for your websites.

To move forward you sometimes need to take a step back and review the direction you are going in. That’s exactly what we are doing at the moment as our first CMS project closes and the next one opens. We hope to move into our next phase, the CMS enhancements project, in early November 2015.
