The move to EdWeb has offered the University a unique opportunity to shift to a new, more collaborative culture and take full advantage of the available knowledge and resources. UWP have taken the initiative of mapping a development collaborative framework for EdWeb through a project co-funded by the College of Science and Engineering.
This month’s WPC session focused on research done on social media integration with the University website, the power of repeat usability testing, EdGEL for blogging and the use of GitLab in the development process.
At the September Web Publishers Community, I delivered a presentation that calls upon the blogging community within the University to help us solve challenges with the EdGEL.
This year’s UX Scotland happened 8-10 June. It was my 4th time attending, and this year I focused mainly on sessions around facilitation and management. As ever there were some real highlights for me, including a full day training session with Kim Goodwin.
