Following the legislation on the accessibility of public sector websites we test and audit our EdWeb CMS content at regular intervals. We record these issues in our accessibility statement and set a time line to get them fixed.

On 12 March, we will apply a collection of development work and bug fixes to EdWeb. On August 13, we will apply a collection of development work and bug fixes to EdWeb. These include an image gallery, accordion element, easier ways to provide video on EdWeb pages, and a new Landing Page content type. These developments were funded by Communications and Marketing and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

On April 11, we will apply the latest developments to EdWeb: Google Tag Manager, updates to our GDPR mechanisms, and updates to the Profile Overview page. We’ll also be adding the latest set of bug fixes, Drupal core and module security updates.

On November 8 we will apply the latest set of bug fixes, Drupal core and module security updates to EdWeb.

On May 24 we will apply our GDPR compliance features, plus minor module security updates to EdWeb. These will allow us, and you, to meet new data protection requirements.

On March 28 we will apply the latest set of improvements, module updates and security patches to EdWeb. We will also deploy event enhancements – attractive ways for your site visitors to browse event advertisements.

The first EdWeb deployment of 2018 will take place on 18 January, when we will update the system with security updates and bug fixes.

On November 15 we will apply the latest set of improvements, module updates and security patches to EdWeb. These will include an update to our site theme, improved help text, and bug fixes.

On October 12, the central University site (www.ed.ac.uk) will be amended to provide secure delivery. This could mean you have changes to make to your EdWeb site.
