Let’s co-design the future of web services!

Help us better understand your needs around web publishing, and play a part in shaping our future web services. We are running pop-up workshops in late May to end of July in a variety of University campus locations.

If your work involves influencing, creating or publishing web content or working with a content management system, we want to collaborate with you.

This is for you if you:

  • want to influence how we design future web services for your team, schools or business units
  • use your own or 3rd party web services for your work
  • have an opinion or two to contribute to the future of our web services

Or you may be simply curious about and have an enthusiasm to advise us on our future web services.

Please note:

  • This is not just for EdWeb CMS users. This is for the whole web publishing and management community.
  • Every workshop can be different depending on the research phases the project in.

More about the Future Web Services design research project

 workshop settings Thursday PM

Over the last two months, we have carried out a University-wide series of community engagements. This user research exercise has informed our work around the University website service and the CMS to be delivered by 2020/2021.

We invite your participation at the next service design workshops happening within the next week. It will take one to 3 (ideal) hours of your time (details below). These sessions are set up to be easy, fun and creative for anyone to come together to co-design future web services with peers.

If you have any involvement in web content in the University and you are interested in participating, please accept this invitation and come along to one of the sessions indicated for an hour or longer if it fits your timetable. Otherwise, last-minute participation is welcome so just pop in!

If you know of anyone else who might be interested in participating, please spread the word as we want to ensure we include a wide range of people.

Please feel free to ask any questions. We shall look forward to the collaborations with you! Write to me to arrange for service co-design research workshop specifically for your team: priscilla.nainby@ed.ac.uk
