We were in Utrecht to attend the conference Frontend United 2019. This is a non-profit, developer-first, community-focused conference. Its aim is to connect frontend developers and designers from all kinds of backgrounds closer together to share knowledge, experiences and ideas.

This week we hosted the Public Sector Design Community meetup where attendees had the opportunity to share their side hustles.
In the latest user-focused lunchtime meetup, Chris Giles, Lillie McEnteer and Richard Arkless from Student Systems gave an inspiring talk on what they took away from a Lean in Higher Education conference, and Neil Allison gave a presentation on the principles of Lean UX methodology.
The Public Sector Design Community meet up comes once again to the University. We’re hosting the next event on Tuesday 16 April, 6 til 8pm, at Argyle House. This is for anyone with an interest in the field of designing public services.
