Sharing the work of the Prospective Student Web Content Team

Tag: user needs

At a recent awayday, I had the opportunity to share some thoughts on services, what that means for how our team does its work and how it might have wider impact.

Since the spring, our team has been working with the Enquiry Management Team to update website content to answer the questions prospective students are emailing about.

Our challenge for design sprints 4 and 5 was around the presentation of entry requirements. It’s such a big area we decided to dedicate two sprints. In sprint 4 we looked at provision for UK applicants (specifically widening access students) and in sprint 5 we looked at how we serve international students.

To have a successful digital service, we need to continuously close the loop between what our users need and what we’re actually publishing. Enquiry analysis can help us do that.
