Sharing the work of the Prospective Student Web Content Team

We recently spent the day talking to prospective postgraduates and observing them interacting with colleagues during a visit day. It was an eye-opening experience for the team for a number of reasons, and importantly we began putting some important principles into practice.

With the current degree finder platform approaching end-of-life from a techncial perspective, we’ve been discussing what kind of shape the next generation of degree programme digital content delivery should take. This post is derived from a discussion paper generated in collaboration with colleagues in Information Services and Communications and Marketing.

Following on from our recent training session on GatherContent for everyone involved in the update of the Undergraduate Degree Finder,  we’ve now updated our guidance wiki and distributed logins to everyone involved.

We’re running training for colleagues involved in the update of the Undergraduate Degree Finder, to support our adoption of the GatherContent tool.

We recently announced a big change to how we will approach updating the Undergraduate Degree Finder. We’re piloting a tool called GatherContent which will significantly streamline our dialogue with colleagues in schools and colleges. We see this as a first step towards a more fundamental overhaul of how this process is managed.
