The University had a fantastic level of representation at  this year’s IWMW conference hosted at Liverpool JMU in late June. In this post, colleagues share their thoughts on the event.

Last month I had the honour of giving the opening plenary presentation at IWMW 2016, the UK Higher Education web professionals’ conference, in Liverpool. My topic was Lean UX, or as i expressed it, why requirements are hypotheses. Video and slides are now available.

We contributed two workshops to this year’s IWMW conference, sharing our knowledge and experience with web managers from universities across the UK.

Once again we’re contributing to the annual UK Higher Education web managers conference, IWMW. It’s a great opportunity to learn from and network with colleagues in our sector, and we’re encouraging staff here in Edinburgh to join us at Liverpool John Moores University, 21-23 June.

I’m going to attend the annual Higher Ed web managers conference (IWMW 2015) in July, and will be contributing a 3 hour ‘masterclass’ – their term, not mine! – on how to conduct usability testing in an agile project.

Last month a small group of colleagues from across the University attended the annual web managers conference in Newcastle. I asked everyone to answer three quick questions to give you a snapshot of what they thought of the event.

I gave a presentation at the IWMW conference last month. This is the annual event for web managers in higher education. The slides and a transcript are now available.

Martin Morrey (from the IS Applications Web Integration Team) and I are both presenting at the upcoming web managers conference – IWMW 2014. We’re running an internal session previewing our presentations on Friday 4 July for colleagues that can’t make the conference.

I’m presenting a plenary presentation at the UK higher ed web managers’ conference in Newcastle in July. I wrote a guest post for their blog recently by way of a preview, and (with a few minor edits) am sharing it here too.
