Updates to do with the current Drupal CMS development project.

Between now and the mid of July, we will be carrying out a University-wide series of collaborative events. This user research exercise will inform upcoming work around the University website service and the content management system to be delivered by 2020/2021.   

We are seeking to better understand your needs to inform how we can enhance web services to ensure they serve you better. These services will complement and sit alongside the current corporate CMS. 

On April 11, we will apply the latest developments to EdWeb: Google Tag Manager, updates to our GDPR mechanisms, and updates to the Profile Overview page. We’ll also be adding the latest set of bug fixes, Drupal core and module security updates.

I’ve recently been experimenting with custom reports in Google Analytics in order to identify “Page not found” errors that occur in the University of Edinburgh website.

On November 8 we will apply the latest set of bug fixes, Drupal core and module security updates to EdWeb.

I am Anita, this year’s Website Programme summer intern, and for the last ten weeks I have been working on improvements to our site-auditing tool, Snapshot.

On May 24 we will apply our GDPR compliance features, plus minor module security updates to EdWeb. These will allow us, and you, to meet new data protection requirements.
