I had my first experience volunteering at an online conference at SDinGov Virtual in March 2024. Having volunteered at in-person conferences before this event gave me a chance to try something new and to get more involved in the delivery of sessions. It was also a good opportunity to grow my confidence.

Between January and May 2022 we were working with the Student Immigration Service (SIS) on a project to enhance their website content. In this post, I recap the excellent working relationship we developed with SIS, including how we collaborated, the benefits and lessons learned.
During the 2-week sprint 4 of our Student Immigration Service project, we developed new Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) content and tested the changes with University staff. In addition, we started work on new content for student visa financial requirements.
