Updates to do with the current Drupal CMS development project.

Due to the popularity of our trial EdWeb migration preparation session, we’re now going to conduct these sessions on a monthly basis to assist editors with their preparation work before their move from Polopoly to EdWeb.

Once again, we’d like to thank all those who came to this month’s WPC session. It’s been a very busy summer and this week we were pleased to announce the successful migration of our 100th site to EdWeb! This is a fantastic achievement and one that we are hugely proud of. However, there is still […]

Over the next few days we will begin the process of tidying and restructuring the EdWeb content tree.

We’ve had a few enquiries about the homepage carousel feature in EdWeb which we’ve strongly advised website managers not to use at present. In this post I want to explain the current situation, what our plans are, and why you’re probably better off without a carousel feature anyway.

We are very pleased to reach our Edweb 100 milestone. Even though it has become a bit of a cliché, the image of the challenge of refuelling a jet in mid-air seems more than appropriate here.

We’ve got a growing list of sites wanting to come into EdWeb, and we’re trying to make sure these sites are managed and brought in in a fair way.

The next regularly scheduled updates and improvements to EdWeb take place on Thursday 6 August and Tuesday 25 August. These deployments will introduce the additions of personalised subsite footers, customisable colour themes, and a new streaming media asset tool, as well as performance and accessibility improvements.

Thank you to all of those who came along to this month’s Web Publishers’ Community meeting– it was a highly informative and engaging session, with presentations on a wide variety of interesting topics.

A key topic from last week’s Website Support Clinic was Flickr galleries and using the FlickrIt application to insert image galleries into EdWeb.

The next regularly scheduled updates and improvements to EdWeb take place on Monday 6 July. This latest deployment will include asset tracking, page audience restriction, and the ability to create RSS feeds.
