EdWeb deployment update June 2015

The next in our regular schedule of updates and improvements to EdWeb takes place on Tuesday 16 June. In addition to a wide variety of technical and performance improvements, we will be rolling out two new convenient, user-friendly features: bulk publishing and webforms.

New features

Bulk publishing

EdWeb users now have the option to bulk publish or unpublish all sub-pages in a website, saving time and hassle. Simply find your site’s Home page in the menu tree and click on the arrow in the field marked ‘Edit’. A drop-down menu of publishing options will appear.

Webforms

EdWeb now provides the ability to create webforms, providing an effective and easy-to-use way to gather and organise information from your site’s users, whether they’re registering interest in a programme, submitting applications, completing surveys, requesting information, or providing feedback.

Creating forms has never been easier thanks to EdWeb’s intuitive design and provided templates, but it’s always a good idea to keep web best practices in mind when customising forms.

The provided reCaptcha technology also helps eliminate spam.
