Join us at the Higher Ed web conference IWMW17

We’re heading down to the University of Kent for the Institutional Web Management Workshop (11-13 July), and we want you to come, too! The conference is aimed at staff in UK higher education institutions responsible for websites and other digital provisions.

UWP team members are frequent attendees and presenters at the conference, and this year is no different (see our contributions below). IWMW is a great chance to learn from and engage with other HE web managers around the country, so we hope you can join us.

Our contributions

Stratos will be presenting a plenary on the Digital Transformation initiative at the University, focusing on how we are attempting to break organisational barriers to enable and build collaborative culture to deliver web services.

Building a collaborative culture talk details

I will be a first time attendee and presenter. I’ll be running a pair writing workshop, which will team up attendees to write a piece of content together.

You can read more on pair writing in my blog post below.

Create effective content quickly with pair writing

Other than looking forward to being somewhere warmer than Edinburgh in the summer, I’m excited to meet other web teams from around the UK and learn about what they’re up to.
