Create your Ring using Paper

Materials Needed

Paper

Process

Think about a theme for your ring. This could be based on a personal memory, a dream, or a response to a current social issue. (2 min)
Sketch the design on paper. You can draw, write words, use patterns or decorative materials to express the theme of the ring. (3 min)
Using the chosen materials, participants color, paint, or decorate the paper. This is where you can experiment with textures, layering, or mixed media. (3 min)
Cut the decorated paper into a strip and roll or fold the paper into a ring shape. And if desired, add any final embellishments like beads or fabric. (10 min)
You can briefly share your rings and the stories or concepts behind them with other participants. (2 min)
