Submissions

The Blog has an open call for submissions related to any field of private law. Submissions can take different forms including:

  • Themed posts
  • Case notes
  • Reviews of new publications

Formal and stylistic requirements:

  • 800 – 2,000 words in length
  • Already proofread
  • Relevant sources should be hyperlinked, where possible
  • Contributors can provide the blog with an image to use for the post. Images must be obtained from Creative Commons licenced sources. Contributors that do not provide an image agree that the Editing Committee may choose an image at its discretion for the post.

If you are interested in submitting a contribution, please complete this form to upload a draft of your post. Alternatively, you can send a draft of your post to ecpl@ed.ac.uk. Once received your draft, a member of the Editing Committee will contact you to discuss further steps.
