Teaching Matters is the University of Edinburgh’s website for debate about learning and teaching, for sharing ideas and approaches to teaching. This blog space showcases our academic colleagues’ successes, who are leading the way in delivering brilliant teaching.

After a prolific month in March, exploring topics around assessment and feedback, Teaching Matters is excited to present this month’s theme on Diversity and Inclusion.

You can find previous blog posts related to this theme here:

Throughout April, we’ll be adding to this content with several posts including the following:

  • Digital tools to support inclusion by Anna Wood
  • Access means much more than just lifts and ramps…… by Jan Gardiner

We hope that you enjoy this issue of Teaching Matters and encourage you to get involved. Future Teaching Matters themes include:

Employability and graduate attributes – May

Undergraduate curriculum – June

Postgraduate taught and research curriculum – July

If you’d like to contribute a blog post, video, or other media on any upcoming themes or any teaching-related subject, let us know by emailing teachingmatters@ed.ac.uk. Remember, you can also submit details about your event and we can advertise it on Teaching Matters.

Happy reading!
