Reimagining suicide research with Amy Chandler

In this episode Joe, Sarah and Rebecca talk to Amy Chandler, the Principal Investigator on the Suicide Cultures: Reimaging Suicide Research project (or the leader of our pack). We ask Amy about the conceptualisation of the Suicide Cultures project and the meaning of ‘cultures’ within the project. Amy describes the need for diverse disciplinary perspective on suicide, as well as in-depth qualitative methods to explore suicide as a social and cultural practice.
