Weekly Changes – 17/04/2023

Due to the Easter holidays this is a very small release with most changes only affecting Informatics. Here are the details…

Ubuntu Jammy

No changes this week. We expect to resume work on the project this week.

Kerberos

Work is ongoing in the DICE headers to support running a Kerberos server on Ubuntu.

OpenVPN

The DICE header for the openvpn service has been tidied to remove references to the ancient SL6 platform.

Wake-on-LAN

Work is ongoing in the DICE headers to port the Wake-on-LAN service to Ubuntu.

Software

There is one new software option available for Ubuntu Focal – LCFG_OPTIONS_LIBGNUTLS_DEV – which can be used to install the libgnutls development package and its dependencies.

Changes to headers and package lists

Members of the Informatics Computing team can browse all the changes to the headers and package lists.
