My Days

♥ MY DAYS

– Create your Collage Art (Scrapbooks) – Cookie Chen

ln this workshop we will find all kinds of beauty in everyday life. We will make a small handmade booklet using simple materials to explore the theme – ‘My Days.’

♢ About Cookie’s Workshop

“I hope you can be good at finding all kinds of beauty through this workshop.
Some people may feel bored in this busy life, through this way they will feel that life is also full of all kinds of interesting little things. Some people may be afraid to try new activities and may not be confident in themselves, but my workshop will help them to open their minds and find more self-confidence.
I want learners to improve their aesthetic and art appreciation skills by using my Open Toolkit.
I also want learners to be able to complete the Open Toolkit independently and try to bring it into their daily lives.”

Timetables

0-5 mins:
Follow along as I make the booklet. Use newspaper or white paper folded in half three times in a row to get eight grids. After unfolding the paper, fold it once and use scissors to cut along the line in the middle. If you are not sure you can watch the video to learn.
5-10 mins:
Complete the first page. Based on the videos you watched earlier and the existing examples you saw, using glue and scissors, please pick what you need from the available materials and cut them out and paste them on the page with your own ideas. You don’t need to be restricted, you just need to follow your heart, and you can make any collage you want.
10-15 mins:
Continue to complete the second and third pages as before. During the collage process, you can choose to write or draw. Any way you feel you can express yourself.
15-20 mins:
If you still have time, we can discuss and give each other feedback. You can write your opinions at the bottom of the website.
If you haven’t finished it yet, you can continue.

IF YOU FINISHED. YOU CAN SHARE YOUR ARTWORK. (Peer Feedback)

Q: “How are you doing?”

Let’s see our Testing!

And write down your advices!
