Weekly Changes – 23/08/2021

This is mostly a very quiet week, the main change is the updates to the LCFG client which were postponed last week to allow more testing. Here are the details…

LCFG Client

After further testing we are now ready to make another attempt at applying the LCFG client changes which were held back last week.

KVM RHEV

The lcfg/options/kvm-rhev.h header has been tweaked so that the OVMF package, which supports UEFI booting for KVM, is now available for SL7.9 as well as SL7.8.

LVM tools

We recently discovered that, due to an oversight, the LVM tools were not included in the SL7.9 installer. They are restored this week, if you need them you will have to update your installroot which is accessed via NFS.

Virtual DICE

Preparations for the next release of virtual dice continue.

dconf settings

The DICE default dconf settings can now be enabled when including the dice/options/dconf.h by first defining the DICE_OPTIONS_DCONF_DESKTOP_DEFAULTS macro. This is useful when including dconf on a non-desktop machine.
