Under 22s Free Bus Travel
If you are under 22 years old and living in Scotland, you are eligible for free nationwide bus travel. Find more about how to apply here.
In order to use the free bus travel, you must have a National Entitlement Card (NEC) or Young Scot National Entitlement Card (Young Scot NEC).
How to Apply
You can apply online on the Get Your NEC website. If you are applying online, it may be useful to look out the documents you will need as part of the application process, such as proof of identity and address.
If you already have a NEC or Young Scot NEC, then you can simply download free bus travel onto your existing card using the Transport Scot Pass Collect App.
