Glassdoor, the website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management, has published its annual best places to work lists. These cover the UK, USA, Canada, France and Germany and there is an archive for the previous 3 years too.
The lists can be quite diverse: in the UK, Google come out on top, followed by Anglian Water (utilities), Bromford (social housing), Facebook and Salesforce (software).
Perhaps akin to a ‘Trip Advisor for employers’, Glassdoor should be taken with a pinch of salt but still provides some useful insights. It also includes job interview feedback from candidates, which can be helpful in interview preparation.
