Our yellow group mapped ‘Organization Ideas’ depending on our organisational reposts yesterday to organise our group curatorial program. First, we reviewed important individual points of the organisation report; then, we spent some time writing many questions on the issues of the organisation, which we then picked according to levels on three circles (primary, secondary and tertiary). Finally, we presented our ideas to the other groups, and they provided feedback on our orient.
This map gave some important information, and highlighted to me the importance of making sure sites and the content of our curatorial program align. Likewise, publishing strategies and the platforms need to be consistent. In short, creation and dissemination are a whole. To some extent, these factors are essential to achieving the organisation’s vision and goals; I realized that the organisation’s structure and mechanisms are very important before the programme begins. These determine the operability of the organisation.
