Weekly Changes – 04/11/2024
This week sees the continuing developments in adding support for Ubuntu Noble, a new snmptrap component written in Perl for Ubuntu, and minor updates to the network component. Here are the details of all the notable changes…

The network component is updated to support inserting IPv6 addresses into /etc/hosts, to validate interface names against what is found in /sys and to revert to the last known good copy of the netplan configuration if generation of its new configuration fails. Error messages have been improved as well.

New options were added to install trac, cvsgraph, papi-tools, davmail, gnumeric, python3-rrdtool, qemu-guest-agent, krb5 strength tests, imagemagick for PHP and munge.
