Educational Design and Engagement

Enriching the student learning experience & supporting development of on campus and online courses.

About the Blog

Welcome to the blog of the Educational Design & Engagament Team, University of Edinburgh.

What is this blog for?

The Educational Design & Engagement team provide support and guidance for a range of services that enrich the student learning experience and improve learning outcomes. Our services aim to complement your teaching style, supporting development of on campus or online distance courses.

The team will be using this blog to provide highlights from events and conferences that we attend, summaries of interesting reports that we read / write in the area of eLearning and updates about how we are developing learning services at the University.

Why do we want to blog?

Over the past few months we have been developing and implementing work on many new services within the University. We have also attended a number of conferences and events that we feel will be of interest to others. With this in mind we plan to use the new blog to share the work we have been doing, projects we are working on, and highlights from the events we are attending or hosting. We also think the blog has the potential to establish productive relationships with colleagues both within the University and perhaps wider afield.

Who are we?

Please visit the Meet the team page for more detail.
