Launch of Media Hopper
This week saw the official launch of Media Hopper, the University’s new hub for creating and sharing media.
Media Hopper is already being very widely used – as the launch video linked above will testify. In April alone: 400 new users, 600 uploads, 1700 hours of content viewed – and all this before the launch!
The content being uploaded is already a gloriously rich resource bank.
From the fantastic 1968 analogue orientation to Library complete with Clangers-inspired backing track…
To the superb showcase of what can be filmed with the state-of-the-art IS Drone…
From some excellent supportive tutorials created by our dedicated teaching staff with simple presentation tools like Keynote and Powerpoint…
to Childhood Nutrition, Drawing and Making, Liquid Crystal Lasers, Flow Waves, Cancer Epigenetics, D-light, Malaria Parasites, Dolly the Sheep, Edinburgh life, Higgs Boson, Andy Warhol, Philosophy, Scottish Independence, Music Theory, Animal Welfare, everything you ever wanted to know about chickens..
it’s all there and much more… with much more still to come…
Training and interactive workshops will follow from both Digital Skills team and Educational Design and Engagement team so get in touch if you are interested.
