Hi! We are a group of students of the University of Edinburgh, guided in this project by our superb tutors: Dr Anouk Lang and Dr Bea Alex. And here are the members of our team:

Iosif Pryor is  completing an MA in History of Art and English Literature, with a focus on internet-mediated visual culture, virtual literary forms, and the way they shape our engagement with media on and offline. He has an additional interest in developing international connections between museums, galleries, and other institutions. Outside of academia, Iosif enjoys playing and writing music, photography, and learning languages. You can find him on Twitter at @iosif_gwp. Together with Victoria and Shuqing, Iosif was in charge of the mapping portion of the project.

Jaclyn Kerr is studying for a MA in English Language and Literature. Through her studies, she has developed an interest in the portrayal of marginalised voices in literature, as well as an interest in how we acquire and use language. Outside of university, Jaclyn enjoys her music, playing video games, and learning languages. You can find Jaclyn on Twitter at @jaclyn_kerr17. With her incredible patience and cool, Jaclyn helped design and edit the website, with Ri and Justyna.

Justyna Mignotte is studying for a MSc in English Literature. Passionate about social justice and parenting, her particular area of interest is Motherhood Studies, unsurprisingly as being a mum she knows the challenges of parenthood first hand. Justyna likes long hikes, recently mostly to playgrounds, Canary Islands, castles and the history of Himalaya climbing. You can find her on Twitter at @Literally Magpie. Justyna was assistant project manager and was part of the website design team.

Lydia Housley is studying MA English Literature and History, with a particular interest in heritage, museum studies, and collections, both digital and material. Outside of university she enjoys reading, baking, dance, and theatre. You can find Lydia on Twitter at @_lydiaay. Lydia was our project manager and contributed to the text analysis home page.

Megan Clarke is completing her MA in English Literature, with a particular interest in postcolonial literature. As a digital humanist, Megan is enthusiastic about moving from the abstractions of high theory to a more practical approach, and how we can use tools, technologies, and archives to create space for counter narratives and correctives in order to address the persistence of colonial violence. Outside of her academic studies, Megan enjoys running and listening to music. You can find Megan on Twitter at @MeganCl46438569. Megan wrote the site’s welcome page and was a valuable proofreader for the team.

Rachel Spero is completing her MA in English Literature and History of Art at the University of Edinburgh, with a specific interest in the social function of late-Victorian literature and art. Her passions include cooking, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family. You can find Rachel on Twitter at @rachel__spero. Rachel contributed to the text analysis home page and helped with editing on the site.

Rioney Perera is completing her MA in English Literature. Her favourite completed course throughout her degree has been a Modernism course, as that is her favourite literary movement. Outside of academic studies, Rioney enjoys listening to music and running. You can find Rioney on Twitter at @stwing_ray. With her tech savvy, Ri provided great advice on technical side and design of the site.

Shuqing Liu is a postgraduate student of MSc Comparative Literature. She is interested in Chinese studies, modern and contemporary literature, Internet literature, philosophy and modernism in Chinese and Western literature and arts. She enjoys reading, writing, singing, and listening to music. You can find Shuqing on Twitter at @SukiB653.
