This event highlighted the role of atmospheric methane in the atmosphere and its contribution to climate change. We discussed different approaches including photocatalysts, electrocatalysts, thermal catalysts, zeolites, and gas to gas systems. We reviewed the potential industrial applications of these aproaches and explored the challenges associated with scale-up and deployment, and discussed a roadmap of different stages of development which we need to consider.
