Youth male violence in Scotland: Understanding antecedents

This project is a SCPHRP’s seed-funded research project. Seed-funding research was part of the SCPHRP remit during the period of 2008 – 2012.

Violence is an important Public Health issue and a contributing factor in health inequalities. The project involves a proof of concept study that will provide the foundations for a larger bid to implement a long-term, follow-up study aimed at understanding antecedents to youth violence, reducing recidivism, and tackling health inequalities in violent male youths in Scotland.
