Physical Activity SandpitA sandpit is a residential interactive workshop which aims to stimulate new research ideas. Participants from a mix of backgrounds (research, policy, professional etc) are encouraged to use lateral thinking and creativity to develop radical approaches to questions posed by or within the Sandpit. Enthusiasm, an ability to collaborate and being open to new ideas are valued over personal achievements or goals.
 
This sandpit focuses on interventions for increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour.
