Week 1 – Icebreaker project Photograph
These the the photographs of my final design from my ice breaker project of a vessel for piece of fruit. I enjoyed this project as you could interpret the brief the way that you want as a fun exercise. I chose a strawberry as they are my favourite fruit. I drew a template then used a scalpel to cut the lines straight then I used paint to colour in the box before folding up. I then cut out shapes of strawberries out of plasticine then glued on. The vessel can be used to carry when going strawberry picking. It can also be used to hang on the door or can be placed on the table to hold the fruit in. I feel that I could have developed the vessel with sketches more. I could of thought more about the concept and looked at the strawberry more closely to make a vessel.
