KEYWORDS

In the course of my research into the notion of the “pocket object” I have discovered an interesting “travelling exhibition” of small, affordable, keychain-sized artworks, made by a number of different artists as part of a project known as Pocket Object. I will discuss this project in more depth in a later post as it is certainly relevant to my research, and going forward I will avoid using the term “pocket objects” to refer to my own work for this project. Instead, I will refer to these objects (and the overall project) using the term Keywords. Keywords not only encapsulates the form and function of my project, but also acts as a kind of starting point or prompt for interaction with the work.
