Following today’s task I was thinking about the idea of limitations in relation to practice and remembered this 2010 video from artist Tom Sachs, in which he outlines the ten rules (or Bullets) of his New York studio. The video provides an entertaining glimpse into a particular kind of studio-based practice which is explicitly predicated on a number of creative constraints.
This is a great example of ‘enabling constraints’ – I will add it to the OER and attribute it to you as the ‘finder’!
