During this session we worked as a group to generate different definitions of who or what a “learner” could be. This was illuminating as we managed to come up with many different ideas, with some interesting points of conflict and overlap.
Given the number of potential “learners” we identified – and the number of different “ways of learning” this implies – it seems important that we aim to be specific about how we characterize our audience, as this will inform how we deliver our contribution to the open learning fair.
