Cop26 at New College

About us

New College is an iconic building on the Mound, overlooking Princes Street in Edinburgh. This year, it is celebrating the 175th anniversary of the laying of its foundation stone (on 3 June 1846).

New College houses the School of Divinity, part of the University of Edinburgh. The School is a community of academic researchers together with students studying for various undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in theology and religious studies. If you’re interested in joining our community as a researcher or student, we’d love to hear from you.

New College is proud to host this weekend of events around COP26. These events are co-hosted by two of the School’s research centres: The Centre for the Study of World Christianity and The Centre for Theology and Public Issues.
