Peer-to-Peer Review

P2P review means we are all required to be a reviewer and to be reviewed.

You can think of this as you always having someone to listen to you, and you having someone (else) that you listen to.

This takes the form of an oroborous:

Red reviews the work of > Yellow

Yellow reviews the work of > Green

Green reviews the work of > Red

Everyone in the group thus, will be reviewed by their own peer reviewer.

Everyone in the group, thus, will also serve as a peer reviewer.

Creating groups for peer support in this way is, ultimately for me, based on Nishida’s theory of ‘Basho’. I’ve created a wee workshop around Basho (lasts about 1-2 hours if done with a group). (Fol. 279 of Codex Parisinus graecus 2327, a copy (made by Theodoros Pelecanos (Pelekanos) of Corfu in Khandak, Iraklio, Crete in 1478) of a lost manuscript of an early medieval tract which was attributed to Synosius (Synesius) of Cyrene (d. 412). The text of the tract is attributed to Stephanus of Alexandria (7th century). https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Serpiente_alquimica.jpg)
