Weekly Changes – 10/01/2022

This is the first release of 2022, happy new year! Although it has been almost a month since the previous release, due to the Christmas vacation, there are very few significant changes. Here are the full details…

aptly package repository mirroring

The aptly component publish method has gained support for forcing the publishing of a snapshot even when nothing has changed. That is enabled by specifying the --force command-line option. This is particularly useful when the signing key changes and all repositories need re-signing.

MariaDB

The names of two resources in the lcfg/defaults/mariadb.h header have been fixed.

alpine mail client

The popular alpine mail client has been updated to version 2.25. For full details of the new features and bug fixes see the Latest Release Version 2.25 section of the project website.

Kernel

The Ubuntu INF_TEST kernel has been updated to version 5.4.0-92.103
