BioQuarter Book Exchange

BioQuarter Book Exchange

There is a new Book Exchange in Chancellor’s Building – see below.  A great re-use opportunity!

On the first floor balcony (by the lifts) of the Chancellor’s Building, you will now find a table of second hand books.  These books are available for you to take, borrow, or swap for another book (all for free).  As space allows, you can also bring in other second hand books of your own you wish to contribute to the Exchange.  There is no obligation at all, feel free to browse at your leisure.

The Book Exchange is for the purpose of re-using books that otherwise might have been thrown away.  Also, there is strong evidence that reading for pleasure can increase empathy, improve relationships with others, reduce the symptoms of depression and improve wellbeing throughout life.
