Impact Score App – A guide to ‘sustainable and healthy products’ in the Supermarket

With such a vast area of produce in our shops and supermarkets, how do you know you are making the right choices to try and reduce your carbon footprint and how ethical is the company you are buying from?

The Impact Score App is an app which gives you independent and transparent information on products you buy to help you make more sustainable and ethical choices when shopping.

There are 15 badges which cover sustainability, health and fairness.

Scanning the product’s bar code brings up a list of awarded badges for that product with a rating.

Underneath that it will give you a list of alternative products and ideas with a score for each of these.

Impact score claim on the website ’83 % of shoppers change their shopping habits when they start using their app’

The app is free to download and use and if you sign up to their Newsletter, they will email you a handy monthly guide showing what fruit and vegetables are in season each month .
