Keep Scotland Beautiful logoEdinburgh CRF is acting as a Community Hub for Keep Scotland Beautiful.  This means we have a set of equipment for litter-picking, that is available to anyone in the community to borrow to do a bit of tidying up in their local area.  This is also available for YOU!

We have ten litter grabbers, five hoops for holding bags, plus some gloves and hi-vis vests.

Why not organise an event with your family or friends to make a bit of Scotland beautiful again?

All the equipment is available to borrow – just speak to someone in the Sustainability Committee or email ECRF.Sustainability@ed.ac.uk with dates that you are looking for and how many sets and we’ll put it in the diary.  People will need to collect and return the equipment during the opening hours of the CRF (0830-1630 hrs Monday to Friday).

When you return it, let us know how many have taken part, where, and how much rubbish was collected, so that we can report this back to Keep Scotland Beautiful to add to their database.

There is also information available on local litter-picking events on the “Edinburgh litterpicks and beach cleanups” Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/groups/403567653706386 – so you can always join with a group of others.
