Getting out and talking to folks!

June brought with it my first opportunity to talk about the Suicide in/as Politics project at a conference. Conferences provide such a wonderful opportuity to get feedback on works that are still on-going and help you to think differently about them, as well as being a bit of a faster way to get feedback than academic publishing. So it was brilliant to be able to share our work in proress looking at the politics of LGBTQ+ suicide prevention in the UK at the University of Glasgow’s Early and Mid Career Researchers in suicide and self-harm forum. The organisers were kind enough to send the video over so we can share it with you here:
