I am Ruoxue Zhao from China, and I was in Edinburgh now. It is so excited to immerse myself into such a different culture. I can't wait to explore this city now!

As for me, “design” is not only about create objects, but about create life narrative in this endless future. And “environment”, is the mixture of nature and created human historical narratives, which is the stage for envisioned future.

I’ve already read that in ancient pantheism period, the environment was acknowledged to have its own soul. I quote  this conception to illustrate that such soul was actually a conbination of historical narratives, which is created by human themselves. Therefore, if I wanna design something which have their “soul”, I should track the path of how people connected nature and created human historical narrative together.
