Where stories begin

Outdated dualism consider nature as silent object of observation outside human’s culture. Undoubtedly such arrogant perspective have gradually destroyed human themselves. The fact is that human lives inside this nature. and the stories begin in  the environment which connect both culture and nature. In order to have a deep insight into the relationship between human ideology and nature, we should develop a historical understanding of how stories happened in different environment.

Instead of producing discarded plastic stuff, design should play a role in recreating eco-balance, which means we should rethink the whole system of producing, consuming and recycling. It’s not only about products, but about the stories of every individual in the eco-system like atmosphere, plants, animals and also humanity. That’s the whole environment. I’ve taken 2 different photoes in Arthur’s seat, and it let me think deeply about how humans influence individuals in the environment.  The first is about cities and mountains, while the second one is about the relationship between humans and swans.
