DRAWING ORGANISATION AND SITE SURVEY
Working with layers showed me how this application can be much more helpful than drawing with paper and a pen. The fact that by clicking you can disappear or reveal layers is great. I had a lot of trouble with using the scale tool on the Mac. I began by attaching the PDF and tracing over it using different layers correlating to different parts of the drawing. I predominantly used line but also fillet to close the corners and circle to create the doors. For the next week I need to work on the stairs as I have used the turquoise line over the dark blue line, which shows (incorrectly) that the stairs are on top of the banister. I have also noticed gaps within the lines which need to be closed.
