Some images from my installation of Keyword Exchange for the Art and Open Learning fair at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.
I designed the cabinet so that the instructions, blank “keys” and a pen could be installed on one side of the frame, and so that a number of finished “keywords” could be displayed on the other. Given the expected number of participants I provided a selection of pens and pencils in addition to the one already in the cabinet, as well as some hand sanitizer to prevent cross-contamination of the tools. I also made more “blank” keys than could be stored in the cabinet (with the hope that there would be many contributions throughout the day).
