RAD Lab Director, Dr Lachlan Urquhart, presented at the Sustainable AI conference that ran 30th May – 1st June 2023 in Bonn. He presented a paper Towards a More Sustainable Internet of Things? Exploring The Role of the Right to Repair”. This draws on a research paper with Dr Christopher Boniface, Prof Melissa Terras and Dr Urquhart which conducted an interdisciplinary literature review on the Right to Repair for the Internet of Things. This work will be appearing as a forthcoming journal article and a preprint is currently here.
