MSc Students visit RCN Scotland
An extremely informative and engaging session was set for our MSc ANP students at RCN Scotland on Tuesday afternoon. We were given an overview of current work and priorities for the RCN in Scotland and elaborated on some of the challenges that nurses are currently face. We were give an opportunity to learn more about policy developments and the role of professional nursing in shaping the agenda for future patient care.
Reflecting on the contribution that an independent and a member led organisation has on setting the direction for the future of professional nursing was illuminating. For our international students this event highlight the many similarities and some of the distinct features of their own national nursing agenda. It is hoped that future collaboration, between our graduates and future global leaders and RCN Scotland would be sustained.
