Field Kit: Raspberry Shake

Initially we started our journey using the Raspberry Shake and learnt a lot.

The majority of this development was carried out by PDRA Calum Cuthill.

We found two major limitations for our application:

  • The use of the raspberry pi was too power hungry
  • The sampling rate was limited to 100 samples per second – which was too low for us

For these reasons, we moved onto developing the Geoduino.
