Dear All,

Thank you for your work this week.

Well done to all our newly qualified Change Mangers and well done to everyone who made it through two days of Power BI training.

Congratulations to Robert for being shortlisted in the e-Assessment Awards 2026 (the Best Practitioner of the Year Individual).

Thank you to everyone working on managing the aftermath of a global cyber incident which hit the vendor of Canvas VLE. We use Canvas for our Short Courses Platform, but other universities have it as their main VLE, so our thoughts are with colleagues in other places.

We have an other internal job advert out, if you identify as a Senior Web Developer, this may be the opportunity for you: Opportunity Marketplace – Job Information – Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications

Andrew has blogged Reflecting on the Little Things at the 24th Durham Blackboard Users’ Conference – Educational Design and Engagement

Ricarda has blogged Digital Productivity – Digital Skills, Design and Training

Katie has blogged How the Effective Digital Content course led to a collaborative project to explore ways to improve the School of Informatics course materials site – Website and Communications Blog

Juan has blogged A New Chapter: Our Move to Forrest Hill’s Studio – Educational Design and Engagement

As we wait to find out what has happened in the Scottish elections, Myles is doing the etape Caledonia and Kevin Brogan is off to Buckingham Palace by special invitation…

Have a good one.
